Clayton & McCulloh is proud to announce the first Manager Winner of our Most Awesome Manager Contest:
Racheal Meade of Leland Management’s Rockledge Office.
Irina McLaughlin, the Secretary/Treasurer of Ventura at Turtle Creek Condominium, nominated Rachel Meade with the winning entry which read as follows: “The Ventura Board of Directors has a hands-on approach to everything that happens on the association’s property whether it is maintenance or residents’ issues. For the past several years, we had numerous projects started and completed. Racheal coordinated the efforts of vendors and the Board to ensure that the projects were completed successfully.
The Ventura Board of Directors has a hands-on approach to everything that happens on the association’s property whether it is maintenance or residents’ issues. For the past several years, we had numerous projects started and completed. Racheal coordinated the efforts of vendors and the Board to ensure that the projects were completed successfully.
As you know, Barnes road widening project created an additional stress and inconveniences for most communities located in this area. Racheal contacted the Brevard county management on numerous occasions to express our residents’ concerns. For example, during one of her regular property inspections, Racheal noticed construction debris left on the property. She also alerted the county management about the potentially hazardous road conditions which were caused by the road construction crew’s negligence.
Her persistence paid off, as the county management took immediate action to remedy the situation.
Racheal maintains open communication with the Board of Directors. We never have to wonder about the status of any current project. She is a step ahead in providing this information to the Board before we even ask about it. She posts regular property inspection reports and includes her comments and plans for handling any maintenance issues.
We admire Racheal’s writing skills in her communication with the residents, staff, and the vendors. Her professionalism and caring attitude earned the respect of many.
We value Racheal’s knowledge of Florida Statutes and we feel confident consulting with her. She keeps abreast of the changes in Florida legislature which affect the Association and she keeps the Board of Directors informed about these changes.
Racheal demonstrates a proactive approach to maintaining our association’s financial health. Working together with the association’s Financial Director, she reached out to several delinquent account holders at Ventura to work out a payment plan before they accumulated a bigger debt and became a liability for the association.
Racheal is a true team player. Life happens, and when one team member is down, she makes it her priority to step up and assist. Her people skills are exemplary. She manages to diffuse difficult situations without alienating the residents or the staff. Our residents are most appreciative of her efforts to keep Ventura a beautiful and safe property.
We feel very fortunate to have established such valuable relationship with our property manager. Few associations can say the same. Racheal’s active involvement in developing Ventura’s community is an integral part of our success.
Racheal continues to prove that she takes pride in her job, and it is our intention to continue working with her for many years to come.”
We are pleased to present this Most Awesome Manager Award to Racheal Meade. Congratulations, Racheal!
