Business Development Department

If you have been to one of our seminars in the past two years, you’ve experienced the fruits of this Department’s labor.  Our Business Development Department designs, implements, and hosts our many educational seminars.  Typically, Clayton & McCulloh hosts a series of seminars throughout the year.  Our seminars focus on meeting the educational needs of board members and managers and preparing them to meet the challenges they face in their roles as community association leaders.  Typically, we host the following seminars each year:

  • Community Association Law Seminars which are open to the public including board members, managers, and key decision makers.  These seminars are typically three hours and are offered for credit.  These seminars are hosted on Saturday morning and feature a full hot breakfast buffet and a Mini-Trade Show. 
  • For Managers Only!  These two hour week day seminars are open to licensed community association managers only focusing on subjects of key interest to CAMs and are always offered for credit.  Former seminars featured a “Death by Chocolate” theme.
  • Legal Update Seminars are weekday afternoon seminars offered in October of each year and cover the new laws passed in that year.  Former seminars have featured “Taste of Autumn” refreshments with surprises galore.
  • For Clients Only!  These seminars vary each year and may be open to client board members and/or managers and can either be educational seminars or a casual evening of great conversation, beer, wine, and appetizers.

Clayton & McCulloh has been hosting seminars since 1996 and is the leader in the community association industry with a reputation of hosting professional, well attended seminars, topical topics, and attention to detail throughout the years.  We feel a special responsibility to educate the community association industry in the topics affecting the industry.

The Business Development Department also publishes our two newsletters, “Association Developments” which is delivered via the US Mail and “C&M Update” which is an electronic newsletter.  Both newsletters are provided on a complimentary basis to all of client board members and managers.  These newsletters are published four times a year and feature topical articles on the community association industry.
