About Attorney Joy E. Carney:

Experience:

Joy Carney was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003 and has been practicing law primarily in Clayton & McCulloh’s Collection Department drafting claims of liens, and handling such matters as bankruptcy and lien foreclosures. Additionally, she has been involved in drafting amendments and contracts, document interpretation, and developer issues.

Education:

She graduated from Florida State University College of Law with her Juris Doctorate and also received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Stetson University.

Experience in Speaking:

Joy has been a guest speaker in seminars and educational sessions that Clayton & McCulloh sponsors throughout Central Florida. Prior to working with Clayton & McCulloh, she was guest speaker for numerous workshops and lectures involving Communications Studies.

Professional Associations: 

Joy is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the Middle District of Florida. She is also a member in good standing of the Orange County and Florida Bar Association, Community Associations Institute of Florida, Building Association Managers, Condominiums & Homeowners Associations of Indian River County, and the Space Coast Condominium Association.
