SIGN UP NOW FOR ANNUAL DIRECTORS WORKSHOPS

We are pleased to announce that attorneys Ed Hamann, David Cooper, and Cheyenne Young have joined the Clayton & McCulloh.

Ed and Cheyenne are working primarily in our Collections Department handling all aspects of legal work in connection with the foreclosures and enforcement of Association Liens. David is working primarily in drafting and amending documents, document interpretation, and covenant enforcement matters.

Ed graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida College of Law. Prior to joining Clayton & McCulloh, Ed worked in the areas of civil litigation and workers’ compensation.

Cheyenne graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law. She has previously worked in the areas of commercial litigation, employment discrimination, and governmental law.

David graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies and Business Administration and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He has worked in the areas of real estate and contract law, high end commercial leasing and sales, and was part of a team involved in the complex mortgage financing for the construction of multi-million dollar resorts in Las Vegas and the Bahamas. 7

 

You’ve just been elected to the Board of Directors. First, there is the feeling of elation at what you just accomplished (be honest now... everyone privately has a rush). Then it hits you. Oh my goodness, what have I gotten myself into? The answer: More than you bargained for! What am I supposed to do? The answer: Attend Clayton & McCulloh’s Annual Directors Workshop.

The rewards of serving on the Board are tremendous. There can be tremendous satisfaction in knowing you’ve taken an active role in shaping your community. There are also tremendous and sometimes, overwhelming challenges. By serving on the Board, you are given the opportunity to meet your entire community.

We are pleased to offer an educational and informative workshop for board members to prepare them to assume their roles within the Association. Our Director of Client Services will address practical issues for the new director and as an added bonus this year, one of our attorneys will also be present to address a particular topic. The Daytona Beach and Indialantic Workshops will feature "Collections 101" and the Orlando Workshop will feature "The Essentials of Board Meetings." Unlike our Annual Community Association Law Seminars, these workshops are limited in size which allows for a more personalized seminar. There will be plenty   of time for
