You’ve
just been elected to the Board of Directors. First, there is the feeling
of elation at what you just accomplished (be honest now... everyone
privately has a rush). Then it hits you. Oh my goodness, what have I
gotten myself into? The answer: More than you bargained for! What
am I supposed to do? The answer: Attend Clayton & McCulloh’s
Annual Directors Workshop.
The rewards of serving on the Board are tremendous.
There can be tremendous satisfaction in knowing you’ve taken an active
role in shaping your community. There are also tremendous and sometimes,
overwhelming challenges. By serving on the Board, you are given the
opportunity to meet your entire community.
We
are pleased to offer an educational and informative workshop for board
members to prepare them to assume their roles within the Association. Our
Director of Client Services will address practical issues for the new
director and as an added bonus this year, one of our attorneys will also
be present to address a particular topic. The Daytona Beach and
Indialantic Workshops will feature "Collections 101" and the
Orlando Workshop will feature "The Essentials of Board
Meetings." Unlike our Annual Community Association Law Seminars,
these workshops are limited in size which allows for a more personalized
seminar. There will be plenty of time for
